A search on one network costs 2 tokens, a written reply 3; asking the Outpost is free. Top-ups from $25 never expire. Billed per venture, cancel any time.
See the full pricingGummySearch was a Reddit audience research tool. Its founder announced on November 6, 2025 that it was closing. New signups and renewals ended on November 30, 2025. Paid users keep access until their billing period ends, and the site stays up for paid customers until the last annual plan expires in late 2026. The stated reason: it could not reach an agreement that aligns with Reddit's Data API usage policies.
If you used it, you probably did two things with it. You studied what a community talks about, and you looked for people with a problem you solve. Those are different jobs. Outposts is built for the second one.
Outposts watches Reddit, X and up to seven more networks for people asking for help with what you sell. It then drafts a reply in your voice. You read it, edit it and post it yourself. Outposts never signs in to your accounts.
GummySearch was a research tool. You picked subreddits, saw pain points and common phrases, and saved audiences. It was Reddit only.
Outposts does not try to replace that research view. It does not give you saved audiences or subreddit-level topic reports. If you mostly used GummySearch to study a market before you built something, a research tool is the closer fit.
If you used it to find people ready to buy, Outposts does that every day. It searches, picks the threads where someone is asking, and writes a draft for each.

You need to study communities before you have a product, or you want saved audiences and topic maps. Outposts will not give you that.
You already sell something and want to know who is asking for it today, across more than Reddit. You get the thread and a draft. You stay in control of what goes out, and your account stays yours.
Outposts reads each community's rules where the network publishes them, and keeps most of what it writes as plain help with no product mention. That lowers the risk of a ban. It does not remove it. You are the one posting, so you decide.
Its own closing page says it closed on November 30, 2025 and that new signups are shut. Paid users keep access until their billing period ends, which for some annual plans runs to late 2026.
Its closing page says free tier users can log in to download an export of their account data. Check that page for the latest.
No. It finds individual people asking for help and drafts replies. For market research you may want a separate tool.
By default no. You copy the draft, edit it and post it from your own account. There is an optional Mac app that can press Post from your own computer; it is off until you turn it on.
Or start a 7-day free trial. No card.
